It’s that time of year again, one that’s dreaded by millions of people up and down the country: it’s hay fever season.

As somebody who has suffered from it for the last nine years, it’s safe to say I’ve tried every trick in the book when it comes to reducing the symptoms of it.

It tortures me from March to October, but realistically I actually suffer from it all year round.

So this was the year I wanted to try some other things, other than the usual nasal spray and tablets, which quite frankly didn’t do much for me at all.

What actually helps?

It turns out air pollution can actually have a huge impact on the symptoms of hay fever. I live in London, which is obviously incredibly polluted.

When I moved from Scotland to London I really noticed an intense shift in how bad my symptoms were, which was less than ideal.

So I started to look at air purifiers, I’d heard they can help and I was willing to try absolutely anything.

I managed to get my hands on a BlueAir Blue Max 3250i and it has changed the game. I am noticing I am feeling a bit less stuffy and sneezy, which is a massive win considering I am used to it for six months of the year.

I would absolutely recommend anyone who suffers from hay fever looking into an air purifier, it’s been magic. I wake up feeling a lot better than before I had one. Before I started using one, I would wake up feeling like I had a cold every morning for months. It made me so groggy and grumpy!

How does an air purifier work?

An air purifier works by using a fan and a filter to draw air in, clean it, then recirculate fresh air. This helps to significantly reduce dust and allergens that are lurking within your space.

The re-circulated air helps keep my space free from dust and allergens. It makes my life so much easier!

Are air purifiers good for your health?

They are good for your health because of the way they reduce dust, allergens and even smoke from your environment. They help to ensure that you are constantly breathing in fresh air.

I could not recommend one highly enough.
