Bolton teen banned from Bolton Town Centre by police
Bolton town centre officers secured a Criminal Behaviour Order against the 17-year-old as part of efforts to tackle persistent disorder in the area.
Greater Manchester Police said the order was obtained by Bolton Town Centre neighbourhood team after repeated incidents in the town centre.
A Criminal Behaviour Order can place restrictions on an offender’s behaviour and movements to prevent further anti-social behaviour and protect the public.
Police said the neighbourhood team remained committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and pursuing the most serious offenders.
Members of the public are being urged to report anti-social behaviour in Bolton town centre to police.
PC Marshall said: “The Bolton Town Centre neighbourhood team are dedicated to tackling anti-social behaviour and bringing the most serious of perpetrators to justice.
“If you see any anti-social behaviour around Bolton Town Centre, please contact us.”
No further details about the teenager or the behaviour leading to the order have been released because of the offender’s age.
