Car on roof after crash at Blackburn Road junction
The crash occurred shortly before 5pm and saw two vehicles involved.
The incident prompted a large response from emergency services, with Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, and North West Ambulance Service all called to the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 4.45pm (on Saturday, August 1, one fire engine from Bolton North Community Fire Station was called to attend a road traffic collision involving two cars on Blackburn Road, Bolton.
“Crews arrived quickly and worked with North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe.
“Firefighters were in attendance for approximately an hour.”
It has not been confirmed whether anybody was injured during the crash.
Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service were contacted for comment.
