CCTV appeal after potential sexual assault in Popworld York
North Yorkshire Police has released a CCTV image of a woman they believe could be a key witness in a sexual assault investigation in York earlier this year.
It happened late on Sunday May 31 and into the early hours of Monday, June 1 in Popworld.

A spokesperson for the force said: “The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, reported being sexually assaulted by a man. A further incident then occurred inside the female toilets at the Popworld nightclub on George Hudson Street.”
A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with the investigation, but was released on conditional bail while police enquiries continue.
The police added that the woman in the CCTV image is believed to have supported the victim inside the toilets and said that if this is you or you know where we can find her, please get in touch as soon as possible.
