Autumn might have crept up on us seemingly out of nowhere, but the BBC has a plan to fill our evenings as the nights get longer, as The Celebrity Traitors is back on our screens.

Claudia Winkleman is back at the helm on the series, which filmed earlier this year, as 21 celebrities head to the Scottish Highlands to play the ultimate social deduction game.

Here’s everything we know about The Celebrity Traitors series two.

When does The Celebrity Traitors start?

The BBC has only said that series two is coming to BBC One and iPlayer later this year, with an official date to be confirmed.

Last year, the series began on Wednesday 8 October, running over five weeks with the final airing on Thursday 6 November. While series two has 10 episodes to last series’ nine, a similar schedule would see The Traitors begin on 7 October.

However, it has also been suggested that the programme may begin this month, after former finalist Joe Marler claimed that the show is coming out on 23 September while appearing on Richard Osman’s podcast.

We will update this when an official date is announced.

While there’s virtually nothing to go off when it comes to predicting who might win The Celebrity Traitors at this stage, that hasn’t stopped the bookies from speculating.

Gambling.com has currently predicted Game of Thrones star Ramsey as the most likely to win (4/1), followed by Welsh actor Sheen (5/1), Coronation Street favourite Hesmondhalgh (11/2) and Industry actor Myha’la (6/1).

At the other end of the 21-player list, model Hall and YouTuber King Kenny are in joint bottom place (16/1), with their odds just beaten by EastEnders star Kemp and singer Blunt at 14/1.

But those predictions are based on very little; when it comes to The Celebrity Traitors, it really is all to play for.
