Day two saw Il Etait Temps power to victory in the Queen Mother Champion Chase for Hollywood Racing and Barnane Stud, with stablemate and huge favourite Majborough only managing seventh place.

Willie Mullins’ 11/1 King Rasko Grey, ridden by Paul Townend, won the Turners Novices’ Hurdle after controversy at the start, while Kitzbuhel and Harry Cobden came first in a thrilling Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase.
