But before any hopeful driver can try their hand at a practical test, they must pass a driving theory test.
The theory test for both car and motorcycle drivers challenges participants on a wide variety of safety situations, rules of the road, hazards, and other common things a driver will encounter.
Once someone passes their theory test, they have two years to get their full licence before needing to retake the test. But many drivers may find themselves forgetting a lot of what they learned two years ago.
