Creamfields dubbed ‘Mudfields’ after heavy rain hits festival
Pictures and videos shared on social media show revellers trudging through churned-up fields and waterlogged walkways at the Daresbury festival.
Campers in ponchos and wellies have been navigating the muddy conditions as wet weather continues to affect parts of the site.
Headliners include Calvin Harris, Sonny Fodera, Armin van Buuren and Underworld.

Some DJ sets were also cancelled due to the extreme weather which resulted in power cuts.
Those attending Creamfields, which finishes Sunday night, are being urged to prepare for wet conditions, including wearing suitable footwear and bringing waterproof clothing, as further unsettled weather is possible across the weekend.
