Cyclist injured in crash on A63 roundabout near Selby
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a cyclist and an ‘unknown motor vehicle’ at a busy roundabout close to Selby last week.
The crash took place at around 8pm last Wednesday (April 8) on the A63 roundabout with Leeds Road in Thorpe Willoughby.

The cyclist fractured her collarbone in the crash, as well as receiving multiple cuts and bruises, and required medical treatment.
“At this time, the driver and vehicle involved have not been identified. It is known that the vehicle had approached the roundabout from the direction of Selby and continued towards Hambleton following the collision,” said a spokesperson for the force.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage or information that could assist their investigation.
