Dakota Johnson Teases Taylor Swift Patient Zero Music Video

Dakota Johnson has lifted the lid on working with Taylor Swift on the Grammy winner’s music video for her new single.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the Fifty Shades Of Grey star would appear alongside Colin Farrell in the Patient Zero music video, which Taylor directed herself.

The news broke right when Dakota was in the middle of doing press for her new film Verity, with TikTok user Ambar Driscoll among the first to ask how the A-list collaboration came about.

Dakota explained: “Taylor and I have been friends for a really long time, and we’re very close, and we decided to work together. And it’s great!

“Normally, I would say ‘don’t work with your friends’, but we work really well together, so…”

“It was so fun,” she enthused. “So fun. It was the best. We had the best time.”

Later, at the film’s premiere, the actor said that she and Taylor are “constantly talking about work and art and life” which is how they ended up collaborating on Patient Zero.

“It was absolutely glorious,” she added to PA, as well as telling MTV: “[Making the Patient Zero video] was just the best. Working with your friends is the most fun thing on the planet.

“Because we’ve known each other for so long, we really respect each other’s creative minds, and to be able to, you know, work alongside her and support and assist and be a person that she tells what to do is wonderful.”

As for her favourite Taylor Swift song?

“Patient Zero, obviously,” she told HuffPost UK with a laugh.
