Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl put on a united front with his wife Jordyn Blum at a pre-Grammy Gala last night, 16 months on from admitting that he fathered a secret child
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has stepped out with wife Jordyn Blum at a pre-Grammys red carpet, putting on a united front after Dave’s cheating scandal. The couple’s marriage of over 20 years was rocked back in September 2024, when Dave revealing that he had fathered a child with another woman.
While Dave, 56, and Jordyn, 49, have made very few public appearances since Dave’s cheating announcement, the couple looked cosy as they attended the 2026 Pre-Grammy Gala last night. Dave stepped out in a black jacket and matching turtle neck, while Robyn stunned in a chic green dress with large side-split.
The ex Nirvana drummer was all smiles as he posed with his arm around his wife, while their 19-year-old daughter Violet Grohl also joined them at the event. The couple, who married in 2003, share three daughters – Violet, 16-year-old Harper Willow and 11-year-old Ophelia Saint.
Back in September 2024, Dave posted an astonishing confession on social media, revealing that he had fathered a fourth child through an affair. Posting on Instagram, he said: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together. Dave.”
The musician turned off the comments on his post, with his daughters reacting by deleting their Instagram accounts. Violet later reinstated the account and broke her silence with a selfie of her in a black bra, two necklaces and opted for a striking red lipstick.
“You can pull off every hair colour, but there is just something about black,” she wrote along the post.
It was reported at the time that Jordyn knew about Dave’s infidelity but wasn’t aware of the extent of it. Speaking to The New York Post, the source added: “She’s a nice, wonderful woman.”
While an insider told In Touch magazine that Dave’s announcement was an attempt to take responsibility for his actions. “He feared the mother or someone else would spill the news. It’s his way to own up that he’s made mistakes,” they said.
Jordyn reportedly wanted a divorce but couldn’t bring herself to split the family up. Last September however, Jordyn was said to have made a decision on the fate of their marriage, with a source saying that she had forgiven him.
“She’s forgiven him. They never wanted a divorce though — the idea of splitting up their family was too sad for both of them,” the source told People magazine. “They love their girls and they’re both great parents.”
They added that while Jordyn was “initially distraught” over the betrayal, Dave “begged” for her forgiveness and they’re now “very happy”. Last year, it was revealed that Jennifer Young is the mother of Dave’s lovechild – who was born in August 2024.
