PSNI said: “Two bedrooms were ransacked”
Detectives are appealing for information following a reported burglary in the Downing Park area of Portstewart last week.
Several items including an amount of cash were taken.
Detective Sergeant McKernan said: “The burglary is believed to have occurred at some point between 6pm and 10pm on Friday 13th March, when the property was unoccupied.

“A pane in a rear door had been smashed to gain entry. Two bedrooms were ransacked and cash and jewellery stolen. “Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1646 13/03/26. We would also ask local residents to check their CCTV or doorbell footage.”“Alternatively, you can submit a report online.
