Several properties were targeted but the only thing stolen was a bicycle from one property
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to after a string of burglaries across Peterborough. Between midnight and 2.30am on Wednesday, August 5, several properties in the Westwood and Bretton areas were targeted, according to Cambridgeshire Police.
A home in Odecroft, Raventhorpe, was burgled, but nothing was stolen after the intruder was disturbed by the occupant. There were also five attempted burglaries at properties in Gransley Rise, Langley, Risby and Muskham. A bicycle was stolen from a property in Langley, the force added.
Detective Constable Hannah Worthington said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries and are asking anyone who recognises the man pictured, or who may have information about these offences, to get in touch as soon as possible.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area during the early hours of 5 August.”
Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images or has information is asked to report it via the force website quoting reference 35/59928/26. Anyone without internet access should call 101.
