The ITV soap dominated the annual ceremony which also saw Claudia Winkleman, Ruth Jones and Call The Midwife win
Emmerdale took home all three soap prizes at the TV Choice Awards 2026. The ITV soap dominated at the annual ceremony, which also saw Claudia Winkleman, Ruth Jones and Call The Midwife emerge as big winners on Monday (February 2) at The London Hilton on Park Lane.
With Jason Manford appearing as host on a night celebrating the best of British TV, it was Emmerdale standing tall. As well as the prestigious Best Soap prize, Lewis Barton actor Bradley Riches was named Best Soap Newcomer, and castmate Danny Miller (Aaron Dingle) won Best Soap Performance.
It was also a successful night for Claudia Winkleman as The Traitors was named Best Reality Show, while her final series of Strictly Come Dancing was crowned Best Talent Show. Elsewhere, Gavin and Stacey co-creator and star Ruth Jones received the Best Comedy Performance prize for her work on the beloved sitcom, and its finale won in the comedy category.
Call The Midwife also did the double, taking home the Best Family Drama prize, while Jenny Agutter celebrated with the Best Drama Performance award. It meant the Adolescence cast missed out in the latter, but the Netflix hit was still recognised with the Best New Drama prize.
Elsewhere, Lee Mack’s The 1 Percent Club benefited from four nominations, landing its first TV Choice Award in the Best Game Show category.
