‘Endurance and wonder’ – Dark Sky Run set for Kielder Forest
Forestry England is hosting a programme of activities as part of the North East Dark Skies Festival.
Kielder Forest, which is celebrating its centenary in 2026, is taking part with a Dark Sky Run on March 7 and 8, designed to blend endurance sport with the wonders of the night sky.
Forestry England is encouraging visitors to turn their evening into a night away.
In the Northumberland forest, options include Kielder Castle motorhome stays and Kielder Village camping and caravan site.
