Welcome along to our live coverage of Maresca’s press conference ahead of City’s clash with Porto tomorrow night. It feels as though the season truly begins when the Champions League starts and this week is certainly a tricky test for the Blues. While fans may already be thinking about Sunday’s derby, Maresca’s full focus will be on Porto.
The Portuguese champions have started their title defence superbly, winning all five of their opening Liga Portugal matches. They have been nearly impenetrable so far, conceding their first goal on Friday night against Moreirense. But City should be confident too and they are starting to find their groove under Maresca.
