What we know so far about Oasis 2027 following huge Etihad drone display

1. Last night (September 10), Oasis confirmed they’ll be announcing a tour in 2027 with a huge drone display beamed out from above the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
2. The band’s iconic black and white logo lit up the Manchester skies at 11pm, followed by the date of 14.9.26 at 4pm BST indicating when the full tour announcement including locations, dates, and presale and general sale information will be confirmed.
3. The jaw-dropping display of drones was 120 metres long and emerged from the ground of Man City’s women’s team, the Joie Stadium. It rose above the ground, next to the Etihad Stadium, where it stunned onlookers and motorists for a good ten minutes before fizzling away again.
4. Etihad Campus being chosen for the light display confirms that it will feature on their tour schedule. As revealed by the MEN earlier this year, the Gallagher brothers have been plotting a huge residency at their beloved Manchester City for some time as part of an eagerly-anticipated world tour. Industry insiders told the M.E.N. earlier this summer that the band were plotting 12 dates at the venue, as well as a Knebworth residency.
5. It also follows a string of social media teasers from the band over the last 10 days. One of these was a video featuring two lads playing football, with a blue moon image on a window frame, and the number 11 scrawled onto the wall as a goal tally – before one kid scored another making it 12 – clearly nodding to The Etihad.
6. Each teaser has included clues to a different city or venue, and has including Glasgow, Manchester, Knebworth, Amsterdam, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome and Boston to date. There have also been rumours about Slane Castle in Ireland and a residency in Las Vegas, as well as other US locations.
7. Attention now turns to Monday. The MEN understands from music industry sources that tickets are likely to go on sale by the end of next week. Demand is likely to be extremely high given that last time over 10 million people flooded ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster.
8. For their Oasis Live ’25 shows there were roughly 1.4 to 1.5 million UK and Irish tickets available for the initial reunion shows. All initial 17 shows for the UK and Ireland dates sold out within a single day on Saturday, 31 August.
9. For fans hoping to get tickets next week, and using the last tour as a guide, after the announcement, a presale took place on the Friday evening for fans successful in the ballot, while general sale commenced at 9am on the Saturday morning.
10. Last time, according to Seat Pick official face-value ticket prices for the Oasis 2025 reunion tour ranged from £73 to £205 for standard seated tickets, around £135 to £150 for general standing, and up to £506 for premium hospitality or VIP packages.
