The firm is launching a major recruitment drive to support its growing network and prepare for peak-season demand.

Most of the new roles are for self-employed couriers, with more than 7,000 positions available.

These jobs aim to enable people to deliver parcels in their local communities, allowing for flexible working patterns.

Evri offering more accessible criteria for candidates

For the first time, Evri applicants do not necessarily need to own a van, due to the company’s new “no van, no problem” scheme.

This approach is designed to make the roles more accessible and attract a broader pool of candidates.

Evri now handles more than one billion parcels a year and aims to expand that to 1.4 billion by 2030.

The recruitment drive follows its merger with DHL eCommerce UK.

Successful applicants can access benefits through Evri’s partnership with Onsi, including early access to pay, GP appointments, and retail discounts.

Eligible couriers can also receive support towards switching to an electric vehicle through Evri’s Go Electric scheme.

Carl Lyon, chief operating officer at Evri Group, said: “The Evri Group’s success is built on the dedication and expertise of our people, and by investing in our teams now, we not only prepare ourselves for another busy peak season but also support our future growth plans.
