F1 2026 Belgium GP LIVE: Race stream, updates and times with Antonelli leading

Antonelli has more pace and power and cruises past before turn 5 – Leclerc powerless to stop it!

This is going to cost Norris!

The McLaren driver eventually dives in but issues with the rear-left tyre means he drops behind Hadjar and Bortoleto when back out on track.

He’s now down to eighth.

Verstappen overtakes heading into turn 5 but brakes very late – Norris fights back but can’t get past the Red Bull.

When will Norris make his stop?

At the front, Leclerc has a 2.6-second lead over Antonelli.

Fresher tyres on, Leclerc storms past Norris on the Kemmel Straight and now leads the race!

Leclerc and Hamilton dive into the pits in a VSC period – debris on track, we assume – and Leclerc comes out in second, ahead of Antonelli and Verstappen!

Hamilton had to serve his penalty so actually is behind Piastri. And he almost ran over one of his mechanics in the pit-box! He’s all OK.

And Norris, yet to pit, leads!

Antonelli pits and gets out just in front of Verstappen.

Leclerc now leads the race though, ahead of Hamilton.

Hamilton’s engineer: “We are opening the gap to Piastri… we need to serve a five-second penalty.

Hamilton: “Another one…”

Hamilton: “What lap are we on?”

Hamilton: “Why the hell… I told you what strategy I wanted to do, you’ve just put me out with everyone else now.”

Engineer: “We are now on plan B.”

A 2.5-second stop for the Red Bull driver as he becomes the first frontrunner to make a stop – and he emerges in sixth, ahead of his teammate Isack Hadjar.
