Fallowfield incident LIVE as bomb squad on scene and residents told to evacuate homes
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to a ‘suspicious item in a front garden’ on Abram Close shortly after 6.05pm.
Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team is making an assessment of the item, said the spokesman.
Meanwhile 20 surrounding properties are being advised to evacuate
