Patrick Kielty welcomed the group to open the show in what was the last episode of the season
Westlife has spoken about performing in China in the opening segment of the Late Late Show in front of large crowds.
The Irish boy band spoke about how one of their songs, My Love, is used as a popular tool to teach Chinese school children how to speak English. The band sang the song as part of their second performance on the show this evening.
Shane Filan, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne performed a number of their songs throughout the show.
Kian Egan was reunited on the show with Dublin woman Tamara Salmon. Tamara was the woman who went viral after filming Kian giving her a hand by pushing her car.

The group talked about their new album, The Ultimate Connection which will be released soon.
Irish comedian, musican and TikTok star Garron Noone also made an appearance on the show and confessed he was a fan of the band.
The May 1 show was the last of the season for the Late Late Show which featured other stars in the episode including Boy George.
