Five people, including a child, taken to hospital after three vehicle collision in Lisburn

Four adults and a child suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time

Five people, including a child, have been taken to hospital following a three vehicle collision in Lisburn this morning.

The emergency services were called to the collision on Moira Road at around 11.05am on Saturday, September 19. It involved a Ford Kuga, Citroen C5 and a BMW.

Five people were injured as a result of the collision, four adults and a child, and were later taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

The Moira Road remains closed and police say diversions have been put in place.

Sergeant Smith said: “We received a report at around 11.05am of a collision involving a Ford Kuga, Citroen C5 and a BMW in the Moira Road area.

“Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

“Five people – including four adults and a child – were subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

“The Moira Road remains closed, with diversions in place.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed what happened or has any information which might assist – including dash-cam or other footage – is asked to contact police using our witness appeal form at https://reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals, quoting reference 433 of 19/09/26, or to call us on 101.”
