Free summer attraction tickets up for grabs in Malton

The NEC in Birmingham is offering the giveaway after research found parents typically reach “breaking point” just 19 days into the school holidays.

The free tickets cover major events and exhibitions taking place over the bank holiday weekend.

Sarah Harvey, deputy CEO at the NEC, said: “Six weeks of summer can feel endless when you’re juggling work, childcare and rising costs, and our research shows just how quickly parents can run out of ideas.

“We wanted to give families in Malton a chance to enjoy brilliant days out together without worrying about the spend, which is why we’re offering a limited number of free tickets.”

Among the attractions are PEPPA PIG Space Adventure, a hands-on walk-through journey from Peppa’s front door to the moon, and Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition, which uses 360° projections and VR to bring Ancient Egypt to life.

For those who miss out on tickets, the NEC Lakeside remains a free option, offering an outdoor cinema and play area throughout the summer.
