A 17-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital after her motorbike collided with a van.
The teenager has been left in a critical condition after the crash in Landford, Wiltshire, on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at around 11.20am when the 17-year-old was riding her Yamaha YZF125 motorbike southbound on the B3079 Lyndhurst Road.
A Ford Transit van was attempting to cross the B3079 onto Forest Road when the two vehicles collided, leaving the teenager fighting for her life in hospital.
Wiltshire Police is now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage – including in the moments leading up to the crash.
A spokesman for the force said: ‘A teenager is in a life-threatening condition in hospital following a collision involving a motorcycle and a van in Landford.

‘At around 11.20am yesterday (Saturday), a 17-year-old girl was riding a Yamaha YZF125 motorcycle southbound on the B3079 Lyndhurst Road when it was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van at the crossroads junction with New Road and Forest Road.
‘The van was attempting to cross the B3079 onto Forest Road when the collision occurred.
‘We are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or the vehicles involved prior to the collision, to contact our Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log 124.’
The force has been approached for further comment.
The ambulance service confirmed it responded to the incident to treat a female for injuries but refused to comment further.
