A police investigation has been launched after a girl was sexually assaulted on a bus in Glasgow.
The girl had been travelling in the vehicle when the attack took place in the Gallowgate area of the city at 4.45pm on Friday, September 18.
Police say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Officers have asked for anyone with any information to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.45pm on Friday, 18 September, 2026, we received a report of the sexual assault of a girl on a bus in the Gallowgate area of Glasgow.
“Extensive enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with concerns or information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2329 of 18 September, 2026.”
