Gone full cast list for new thriller series airing on ITV
It follows headmaster Michael Polly (Morrissey), who returns home one day to find his wife Sarah missing.
DS Annie Cassidy (Myles) takes on the case when Michael reports Sarah’s disappearance, but she is surprised by Michael’s stoicism regarding the situation.
When an awful discovery catapults the case into new territory, plenty of twists and turns reveal this to be a more complex case.
A synopsis of the show reads: “After headmaster Michael Polly sees his school’s first XV rugby team snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat, he arrives home with daughter Alana to find no sign of his wife Sarah, a music teacher at the school.
“The next day sees an inscrutable Michael report Sarah missing to DS Annie Cassidy, who begins to investigate.
“As Annie observes the curious headmaster, Sarah’s disappearance takes a sinister turn.”
Discussing what inspired her to take on the roles, Myles shared that it was a slightly different approach to familiar material that made it stand out.
Speaking to ITV , she shared: “My first impression when I read the scripts was one of intrigue and excitement because of the family liaison side of it, which is something that is not ignored, but hasn’t been explored as much as we’ve done in this series.
Did he do it?
When his wife goes missing, a headmaster’s calm reaction puts him at the centre of suspicion.

“That really got me excited and I wanted to know more about it and how difficult and complex it is, because, not only is Annie the family liaison officer, she never clocks off as the detective, so she’s got two hats on throughout the entire thing.
“Also, she has her own private stuff going on, which then bleeds into the main story.”
