Staff also thanked The Telegraph for featuring them in its 2026 Best Pubs in the UK guide.

In the review, it was described as an ‘atmospheric East Riding local’ with one reviewer saying the following: “One of The Goodmanham Arms’ regulars is standing at the bar, unusually well-attired. Where’s he off to, a series of employees and fellow customers wonder?

“The first day of Beverley Races, of course, but not before a few at this delightful pub in the heart of the East Riding. On a Wednesday lunchtime, this atmospheric, trinket-strewn pub is quickly filling up with couples eating lunch and regulars dropping in for a pint.

“The most sought-after seats appear to be those by the fire in the room to the left of the bar – but there are no bad spots in this delightful pub.”
