G’s Bar & Kitchen opens in historic Church Street, Whitby

G’s Bar & Kitchen opened its doors to its venue in Church Street, Whitby on Wednesday (June 10).

The business, which opens from 9am till late on Wednesday through to Sunday, currently offers a variety of light bites and drinks.

In a social media post welcoming its new customers, the team behind G’s Bar & Kitchen said the venue would be taking a “staged” approach to its food offering – with breakfast and brunch menus available from the outset and additional menus introduced over the next coming days and weeks.

A representative added: “From day one, we’ll be offering our full drinks menu, including coffee, cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks throughout the day and into the late evening.”

The relaxed dining space features both indoor and outdoor seating.

Customers can enjoy a breakfast menu featuring a classic and vegetarian full English breakfast, Texas waffles, G’s New York Croissants, truffle scrambled eggs and a selection of pastries.

G’s brunch dining options includes charcuterie and cheese sharing boards, along with chicken skewers, patatas bravas, arancini, burrata and humous bowls.

Speaking about the renovation of its space in the historic coastal street, a representative for the company said: “We wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all the incredible tradesmen and suppliers who have helped bring G’s Bar & Kitchen to life over the past 12 weeks.

“From early mornings to late nights, your hard work, craftsmanship, advice, and support have been invaluable.

“What you see today simply wouldn’t have been possible without you.
