The death is not being treated as suspicious
An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in the back of her car on Sunday (June 14). Police were called to the scene outside the Dairyground shops, on Dairyground Road in Brinnington.
Witnesses told the Manchester Evening News that a blue forensic tent was erected at the scene with a cordon also put in place. Officers remained in attendance throughout the evening following the horror discovery.
Ambulances were also in attendance as detectives worked at the scene close to the parade of shops at the junction with Plymouth Drive.

It’s understood that officers had been called to concerns for a woman in the back of a vehicle. It was later confirmed she was deceased.
An investigation into the circumstances is currently ongoing, it was confirmed.. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
No further details have currently been released.
