Ireland vs Scotland, Six Nations 2026: Kick-off time, TV channel, live stream, team news, lineups, h2h results, odds today
Ireland welcome Scotland to Dublin this afternoon to kick off Super Saturday, with the 2026 Six Nations title still up for grabs for both teams.
Ireland still have a chance, too, but need to beat the Scots while hoping France lose and are also prevented from picking up losing bonus points.
As well as providing the winner a shot at overall Six Nations glory, this clash in Dublin acts as the 2026 Triple Crown decider given that both nations have beaten England and Wales already.
Ireland vs Scotland date, kick-off time and venue
Ireland vs Scotland in the Six Nations takes place today, Saturday March 14, 2026, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Kick-off is scheduled for 2.10pm GMT.

Ireland vs Scotland team news
Farrell makes four changes to the Ireland team that held off spirited Wales in Dublin last time out.
James Ryan misses out with a calf injury, so Joe McCarthy returns in the second row to partner Tadhg Beirne, while Dan Sheehan is back at hooker in place of Ronan Kelleher.
Josh van der Flier is recalled at openside flanker as Nick Timoney drops to the bench, while Tommy O’Brien replaces Jacob Stockdale on the left wing.
Bundee Aki is among the replacements and poised to make his first appearance of the Six Nations after suspension, while three-cap Connacht lock Darragh Murray will come on to make his debut in the competition.
Finlay Bealham and Craig Casey also come on to the bench, where Ciaran Frawley remains the fly-half cover for Jack Crowley, over Sam Prendergast.

Scotland have been hit with several new injuries, with first-choice lock duo Gregor Brown and Scott Cummings both ruled out. Max Williamson and Grant Gilchrist come in.
There is also a change at tighthead prop, where Zander Fagerson is back in at the expense of D’Arcy Rae.
The Scottish backline is unchanged, with Kyle Steyn and Huw Jones both shaking off injuries suffered against France. Magnus Bradbury, Alex Craig and Kyle Rowe all come on to the bench.

Ireland vs Scotland head to head (h2h) history and results
Ireland have not lost to Scotland on home soil since a narrow 23-20 encounter at the 2010 Six Nations went the way of the visitors.
That result, at Ireland’s temporary Croke Park home before the Aviva was completed, scuppered a Triple Crown attempt by the Irish and ensured Scotland avoided a wooden spoon.
Scotland have never beaten Ireland during Townsend’s nine-year spell in charge, losing 11 in a row.
Ireland vs Scotland prediction
Asked about the head-to-head record between these two nations, Ireland boss Farrell was keen to dismiss any suggestion that his team hold an advantage due to history.
“The record becomes irrelevant because they’re a great side, a talented side, they’re well coached, they’ve had some big wins,” he said.
“We’re expecting a massive game and the record doesn’t come into it because it’s a proper Test match and a good week to get excited about.”
That may be true, and anything can surely happen, particularly given the Scots will view this as their best shot at a maiden Six Nations crown in recent memory.
However, the fact that Ireland have bounced back from their opening day loss to France to give themselves an outside chance at glory as well means Scotland are unlikely to be able to catch the hosts unawares as they did to Les Bleus last weekend.

Another high-scoring affair is a real possibility, given both sides have been far from airtight in defence, but the Irish might just have the edge at home.
Ireland to win, by seven points.
