Joe has been sharing regular updates on social media of family life with Stacey
Joe Swash has shared a sweet fatherhood insight with fans after he was seen enjoying a date day with his wife, Stacey Solomon, and her ex.
Over the weekend, the couple were closer than ever as Stacey took to Instagram to share how they had headed on a special ‘date day’. Sharing beaming pictures of the pair to her grid, the Sort Your Life Out host wrote: “Mum & dad date day with you. Doesn’t matter what they say, to the moon and back @joeswash.”
She added: “A rare day for us. Joe’s sister has kindly taken the pickles out for the day (we love you Cassie). And we are off somewhere we’ve never been to before but always wanted to go. SO excited!! Happy Sunday Everyone. Lovvveee uuuu alll.”
It wasn’t long before Stacey revealed that she and Joe weren’t alone on their date day, as her dad, David Solomon, joined them as they headed for a special outing at Silverstone for the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026.
She also shared it was the dream of her ex to also attend the race, with Zachary’s dad and stepmum also joining the special day out. The Loose Women star quipped in a video posted to her Instagram Story: “Do you know who is really important to bring on a date day with your husband? Your last baby daddy and his wife!” Before Joe interjected: “And your dad!”
Days on and Joe couldn’t have looked more delighted as he joined Stacey at their children’s sports day. Sharing a picture of the smiling pair on Instagram, the former EastEnders star wrote: “Sports Day – the most important day in my diary!
“Picnic packed [tick emoji]. Stacey’s fold-up chair [tick emoji]. Best Running trainers [tick emoji]. 30 degrees heat [tick, sun and sweating face emojis]. I’ve only been training for this since last July! [crying laughing emoji].”
It comes after the celebrity couple, who tied the knot in a ceremony at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage, back in 2022, were earlier this year the subject of rumours about their relationship being on the rocks, with Stacey even being quizzed on national TV about not always wearing her wedding ring.
Later, Stacey spoke out about speculation about her and Joe’s marriage in a series of videos posted to her Instagram Story, then told her millions of followers she was stepping back from sharing on her large platform for a while.
She returned to updating her loyal following at the end of April and has since appeared happier than ever with her husband and their family, which includes the three children they share together – Rex, Rose and Belle.
