Lindsay Clancy’s quaint Summer Street home was supposed to be the setting for her family’s happily ever after.

It was where she and her husband Patrick chose to raise their three children: Cora, five, Dawson, three, and baby Callan.

But for the past three years, that picture-perfect suburban setting has been shattered and replaced by the clinical corridors at Tewksbury State Hospital.

Behind the doors of the pre-Civil War psychiatric facility, the former nurse who once cared for her own patients has become the patient herself.

Lindsay Clancy’s hair is covering her face, so it’s hard to see her expression, but she appears to be staring straight ahead.

Reddington just joined her at the table and is speaking to her. She looked at him and responded, giving a slight nod of her head.

The courtroom is packed with members of the media and members of the public.

The room is silent except for the frantic typing of the journalists.

Since the start of her trial on July 27, social media users and celebrities have shared unfounded theories about the case online, including that Patrick allegedly had something to do with the tragedy that has shocked America.

Patrick has never spoken out about the baseless rumors, but as Lindsay’s case comes to a close, his attorney has threatened those sharing the ‘false, defamatory statements.’

The prosecutors and the district attorney entered the Lindsay Clancy courtroom.

Defense attorney Kevin Reddington is already inside. Clancy’s father also went in.

Reddington is sat on a table to the side of the room, appears to be on his phone.

Behind Clancy is her two nurses, followed by a row of her parents, sister, Father Bob Deehan, Dr Paul Zeizel, Patrick Reddington.

Both Patrick and Lindsay Clancy have filed separate lawsuits against several of her medical providers alleging that they overmedicated the mom while treating her for postpartum mental health issues.

This overmedication led to her conditions worsening, and ultimately to the deaths of the children, the suits claim.

Many of the providers they are suing took the stand during her murder trial, including Dr Jennifer Tufts and Nurse Rebecca Jollotta.

The civil suits are still making their way through the courts.

Lindsay Clancy’s parents, Mike and Paula Musgrove, exited the courthouse with coffee cups in hand during the lunch break.

They have been in court each day over the past six weeks to support their daughter.

Ruth Hearson remembers the day in 2018 when the young couple and their baby girl moved into the home opposite on Summer Street.

She took them brownies and welcomed them to the neighborhood – a quiet tree-lined road in the coastal suburb of Duxbury, Massachusetts.

At the time, Lindsay, Patrick and Cora Clancy seemed like any other young family raising their children on the South Shore. A year later, they welcomed a son, Dawson, and baby Callan came along in 2022.

To 81-year-old Hearson, who has lived on Summer Street for five decades, the Clancy’s ‘were a terrific family.’

A fight erupted between two women, one dressed in black, the other in pink, outside the Lindsay Clancy courthouse as jury deliberations continue.

‘This is a funeral. Three babies’ lives were lost. This right here is a funeral. Would you wear that to a funeral?’ the woman in black asked.

Clancy’s supporters have come out in droves clad in pink to show solidarity with the killer mom.

The woman in pink asked the other woman to respect that they had different opinions.
