Live updates as police close Co Down road after collision
Police have closed a Co Down road following a crash on Tuesday morning.
The Leode Road, in Hilltown, is currently closed following the single vehicle collision in the area. Police say closures are in place at Newry Road and the junction of Carmeen Road.
Emergency services are in attendance at the scene and police are asking motorists to avoid the area until the road reopens.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Road users are advised that there are closures in place on the Leode Road, Hilltown, due to an ongoing one vehicle road traffic collision in the area. Closures are in place at the main Newry Road and at the junction of the Carmeen Road, and emergency services are in attendance.”
