M6 traffic LIVE as lanes remain closed and long delays continue after lorry blaze
There is currently no ETA of when the closure will reopen, according to a National Highways update.
Posting on X, it said: “Currently, all traffic is being diverted off at J18 with this closure remaining in place. There is no eta for reopening with the plan of resurfacing tonight. This is all to be confirmed.
“At the moment, there aren’t any new updates to share regarding this closure. Please keep an eye on our social media channels, as we’ll continue to share any updates there as soon as they become available.”
