A police cordon has been erected at Brown Street in Armadale.
Dozens of police officers have descended on a Scots town following reports of a major disturbance.
An incident alleged to have happened around 12pm today resulted in police and the Fire Service attending at Brown Street in Armadale.
An air ambulance was deployed from Glasgow and spotted on FlightRadar24 travelling to Armadale before going back to the city.
Edinburgh Live reports that locals on the Facebook page West Lothian Council Exposed allege officers, paramedics and firefighters are in attendance on Brown Street and Upper Bathville – with a cordon erected at Brown Street.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they received a report of a car on fire but said the overall response was being led by Police Scotland.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
