Police would like to speak to two witnesses captured on CCTV
A man was injured after being attacked with an axe and baton. The victim was assaulted by two men armed with a climber’s axe and baton in Newmarket High Street on April 5.
The incident is thought to have happened between 1.15am and 1.50am. Suffolk Police would like to speak to two women captured on CCTV who may have witnessed the attack.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to speak to these two female witnesses who might be able to assist their inquiries and ask them to come forward. Also, anyone who knows them can contact Suffolk Police via www.suffolk.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting crime reference 37/19067/26.”
