2. Trafford only returned to City a year ago when the Blues activated a buy-back clause to sign the goalkeeper from Burnley for £27million

5. But the 23-year-old wanted first-team football to achieve his ambitions of becoming England’s No.1, having travelled to the World Cup as third choice
6. City have banked a sizeable transfer fee from the deal and have also included a 20 per cent sell-on fee on any profit should Leeds sell the goalkeeper in the future
7. City have Donnarumma and Marcus Bettinelli as senior goalkeepers and signed Pierce Charles from Sheffield Wednesday this summer but immediately loaned him out to QPR in the Championship.
