Man dies after becoming unwell after police called to incident in Grangemouth

Emergency services were called to Almond Street after reports of concern for a man, who later died. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A man has died after becoming unwell following an incident on a street in Grangemouth.

Emergency services were called to Almond Street at around 7.45pm on Thursday after reports of concern for a man.

Police Scotland said officers attended and engaged with the man before he became unwell.

He died a short time later.

The circumstances surrounding the death have not been disclosed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received reports of concern for a man in the Almond Street area of Grangemouth around 7.45pm on Thursday, 23 July, 2026.

“Officers attended and engaged with the man.

“The man subsequently became unwell, however died a short time later.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
