Police are appealing for help in locating a missing man who may be carrying a contagious illness, after he disappeared from a hospital. Dean Hesketh was last spotted leaving Royal Preston Hospital on Tuesday, July 28 at 11.16am.
The 51-year-old is also known by the names Tim, Dean or Anthony Gledhill. He is described as 5ft 4in tall, with black hair and blue eyes.
Dean has a slim build and was last seen wearing a khaki green and black jacket, black trainers and a Lyle and Scott jumper, reports LancsLive.
He was also wearing a surgical mask when last seen and has known connections to Preston, Penwortham and Blackpool.
Officers are continuing their enquiries to locate him, but concern for his welfare is growing. Police are urging members of the public not to approach Dean if he is spotted, as he may be carrying a contagious health condition.
Anyone who catches sight of Dean should dial 999 immediately to ensure he is found safe and well.
