Man in 70s dies after crash near Sutton-on-the-Forest
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal crash that took place on York Road, approaching Sutton-on-the-Forest, earlier this month.
It happened at approximately 3.15pm on August 12 and involved a red Vauxhall Astra and a silver Audi.

The road was closed for several hours whilst police investigated the scene and recovered the cars.
“Sadly, following a period of time in hospital for treatment to minor injuries, the driver of the red Astra, a man in his 70s, has passed away,” said a spokesperson for the force.
They added that the driver of the Audi has assisted officers with their enquiries.
