Mandelson To Step Down From The House Of Lords, Speaker Confirms
Peter Mandelson is set to step down from the House of Lords, according to the Lords speaker.
The peer already resigned from the Labour Party on Sunday after the US Department of Justice released a series of documents about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The files suggested Mandelson had handed confidential information to Epstein when he was in the cabinet a decade ago.
