McDonald’s in Glasgow taped off by cops amid ongoing emergency incident

Cop cars and an ambulance were spotted outside of the McDonald’s on Maryhill Road, Glasgow.

A McDonald’s in Glasgow has been taped off by police amid an ongoing emergency incident.

The fast-food restaurant on Maryhill Road has been cordoned off by officers, who have been spotted standing guard inside. In images shared with Glasgow Live, paramedics can also be seen in attendance at around 6.40pm this evening, March 11.

A cordon has been erected around the entrance to the McDonald’s, with at least two police vehicles and one ambulance on scene. According to an eye-witness, the restaurant remains “shut” at this time. The nature of the incident is unclear at this stage.
