Missing Lillia, 13, from Bolton found safe in Manchester after police search

Lillia was first reported missing on Friday (September 11) and was later seen at 11pm in Piccadilly Gardens

Missing teenager Lillia has been located safe and well in Manchester city centre, officers confirmed on Saturday evening.

The 13 year old lass vanished from her Bolton home more than a week ago, sparking a substantial police hunt. She was initially reported missing on Friday (September 11) and was subsequently spotted at 11pm in Piccadilly Gardens.

Her next sighting came when she boarded the 247 bus at the Trafford Centre at 1.50pm on Saturday (September 12), followed by CCTV footage capturing her at the McDonald’s in Piccadilly Gardens at approximately 8.20pm on Sunday, September 13, reports the Express.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: “Thank you to everyone who shared our missing appeal for 13-year-old Lillia, who has been missing since Friday 11 September 2026.

“We can confirm that she has been found safe and well in the city centre. She is currently with our officers, and her next-of-kin have been informed of this update. We will release more information in due course.”
