This is the moment Berlin Pride was evacuated after a vehicle drove into the crowd, killing one person and injuring at least 17 others on Saturday evening (25 July).

An eyewitness filmed the evacuation after attendees were ordered to leave the area, with a number of emergency services vehicles already at the scene.

Hundreds of thousands of people had gathered peacefully in the German capital for the annual Christopher Street Day celebrations, one of Europe’s largest LGBTQ events, before the attack brought it to an abrupt end.
