Motorists told to ‘avoid’ Cambridgeshire road after crash involving a motorbike

Motorists have been told to avoid an area of Cambridgeshire following a crash between a car and a motorbike. Emergency services are at the scene of the crash which happened this morning morning (Friday, May 29) at around 10.30am. Cambridgeshire Police were called to Dowgate Road in Leverington following reports of a crash.

The collision involved a car and a motorbike. Emergency services remain at the scene including an air ambulance.

Cambridgeshire Police has reported that the injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Motorists have been told to “avoid the area”.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “We were called at about 10.30am today with reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike on Dowgate Road, Leverington.

“Emergency services are currently at the scene. Injuries are unclear at this stage but not thought to be life threatening.”
