The road was closed for around two hours
Multiple people have suffered injuries following a crash on a major Cambridgeshire A-road. The police were called at around 6.42pm on Sunday, February 1, with reports of a three-vehicle collision, involving an overturned vehicle, on the A14 near Fenstanton.
Emergency services attended to the scene to find a vehicle overturned. Several people were treated for minor injuries.
Two lanes on the road were closed around two hours causing long delays of up to 50 minutes. This was to allow for the vehicles to be recovered.
All of the lanes were reopened by 12.30am on Monday, February 2.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “We were called at 6.42pm to reports of a three-vehicle collision on the A14 near Fenstanton. Officers and paramedics attended, and several people were treated for minor injuries. The road was closed for about two hours while the vehicles were recovered.”
