New Bolton guide aims to keep Food Festival visitors coming back

The Insider’s Handbook will be available throughout the festival weekend at the new Visit Bolton area, alongside regional chefs and local businesses showcasing what the borough has to offer.

It also includes little-known facts about the borough, including the fact that Bolton’s Egyptology collection is the largest and most significant collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts held by a local authority museum in the UK, with around 12,000 objects spanning more than 5,000 years of history.
