Patient taken to hospital after crash in Bishop Auckland
Emergency services were called to Tindale Crescent just before 8pm on Tuesday (August 25).
One person was taken to University Hospital of North Durham for further treatment.
A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said: “We were called to a road traffic incident on Tindale Crescent in Bishop Auckland on Tuesday, August 25 at 7.53pm.
“We dispatched one ambulance crew and one clinical team leader to the incident. One patient was taken to University Hospital of North Durham for further treatment.”
Durham Police said the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a one car collision on Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland, shortly before 8pm on Tuesday, August 25.
“The road was closed for a short time while the vehicle was recovered.”
The road has since reopened.
