Person airlifted to hospital with burns after Darlington incident
The incident happened just after 4.50pm today (August 3) with police and paramedics spotted outside the White Horse pub on Beaumont Hill in Darlington.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said the person suffered injuries to their lower body.

A spokesperson said: “We were called just after 4.50pm to assist a patient suffering from burns to their lower body.
“We dispatched an ambulance crew and the air ambulance who treated one patient before airlifting to hospital.”
Pictures taken at the scene shows police cars and ambulances in the pub car park.
One witness said: “The air ambulance was in a field opposite the pub. All other vehicles were in the pub car park.”
