Photos show solar eclipse at Castle Howard in Yorkshire
THESE stunning photos of the partial solar eclipse over Castle Howard last night were taken by Nick Howard.
Castle Howard shared two photos taken by Nick showing the eclipse over the dome at the historic attraction.
The stately home in North Yorkshire – made world famous for its appearance in TV and film adaptations of Brideshead Revisited – lies 30 minutes outside of York.
People across York and North Yorkshire have been sharing photos of the rare solar eclipse which took place early last night.
